After this, Vigilance arrested CMO Dr. Jayabhagwan by taking 1 lakh bribe at his government residence in Palwal by putting a trap at night.
On searching the house, 3 lakh cash was recovered from the cupboard. A case has been registered against the CMO under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act and Section 308 (2) of the Code of India at Vigilance Police Station in Faridabad.

- CMO threatened to close the hospital by saying deficiencies: Manohar further said- Dr. Jai Bhagwan is holding the post of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in Palwal. He was repeatedly threatening to stop his hospital functioning as a decrease in functioning.
- 15 lakh demands for running hospital: Manohar said that the CMO told him that if he wants to run the hospital, he would have to pay 15 lakh rupees in lieu of it. The CMO said that these rupees have to be given to them even further.
