Walking on highways and expressways in Haryana has become expensive from today. The toll tax has increased from 5 to 25 rupees from 1 April. There are about 24 tolls in Gurugram, Faridabad, Hisar districts, where toll rates have been increased.

Toll officials say the rates are increased by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) from April 1 every year. The new rate list has been put on toll booths about the information of new rates to the drivers about the new rates.
Toll is the most expensive from Narnaul to Ambala on National Highway 152D. For the car, there will be a single side of Rs 375 and double side will cost Rs 560. There is no facility of monthly pass on this highway. Rohtak’s Humayumpur and Hasangarh toll plazas are the cheapest. Here the one side toll for the car, jeep is Rs 30 and the double side is Rs 45.
At the same time, only one side toll has to be given on the Kherki Daula toll plaza of Gurugram.
