The weather has changed in Haryana. There was light rain in the morning at many places including Panipat and Sonipat. Cold wave is going on. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for rain in 16 districts. While there is yellow alert in 6 districts. There is also a possibility of hailstorm at some places.

Whereas Panchkula, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Fatehabad and Sirsa districts have been put on yellow alert.

The districts where heavy rain is expected include Sonipat, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Mahendragarh, Jhajjar, Rewari, Gurugram, Palwal, Faridabad and Mewat.
