After this, there was an encounter between the kidnappers and the joint team of Noida Unit of UP STF and Hathras Police. During this time, the kidnapped Abhinav Bhardwaj was safely rescued by the police.
A kidnapper has been injured in the encounter. The kidnappers were claiming to be associated with the gang of notorious Delhi gangster Tillu Tajpuria. However, investigation revealed that the kidnappers were not associated with any gang, but had formed a gang themselves and carried out kidnapping for money.

Apart from this, 20 year old Sujal Kumar, resident of Almora and 20 year old Karan Bisht, also of Almora, have been arrested. Police have recovered the car used in the incident, Rs 50 thousand in cash, scooter, mobile phone and other items.
The accused had kidnapped the manager and taken him to Almora. These people were demanding ransom in the name of Tillu Tajpuria’s gang. Noida unit of PSTF and Hathras police carried out this operation on the pretext of paying ransom. The condition of Vishal, injured in the encounter, is critical, he has been admitted to the Trauma Center.
