55 -year -old Santosh Kumar died in a painful accident on Sunday morning in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. The incident happened when Santosh went to open his cow from the banks of the pond. At the same time, another bull present there attacked him, due to which he was unbalanced and fell into a nearby mud pond.
According to the report of the news agency, the police said that the pond was quite marshy and Santosh Kumar started to collapse in it. Hearing the noise, the villagers and their families reached the spot and tried to save them. Many times an attempt was made to pull with rope and wood, but could not get success.
Police and administrative officers of Mursan Kotwali also reached the spot as soon as the incident was received. After about two hours of hard work, Santosh’s body was taken out of the pond with the help of villagers and administration.
Mamta Singh, SHO of Mursan Kotwali, said that the body has been sent for post -mortem and the incident is being investigated. After this heartbreaking incident, weeds have spread in the village. Santosh Kumar was the main member of his family. The family is in deep shock due to his sudden death.
Local people have demanded from the administration that this marshy pond near the village should be cleaned and security arrangements should be made on the shore so that such an incident does not happen in future.
