The 10th and 12th board examinations in Haryana are starting today. For this, Haryana School Education Board has set up a total of 1431 examination centers across the state. Of these, 5,16,787 students (regular and distance students of class 10th and 12th) will take the exam.

This includes 2,72,421 boys and 244366 girls. The exam will be held from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The 12th exam will begin on 27 February. Whereas, 10th examinations will start from February 28.
The board has formed 219 flying fourths to tighten the copying in the examinations. Also, CCTVs have been installed at most examination centers. Apart from this, QR code and Hidden Security features have been created to prevent paper leaks.

With this, any kind of irregularities during the examinations will be controlled. The Secretary further stated that if the case of paper out of an examination center is found, strict action will be taken against the Superintendent, Supervisor and the candidate involved in copying.

Most examination centers will be under the supervision of CCTV cameras. This step has been taken to eliminate the possibility of paper leaks and bring transparency in the exam.
