The NEET UG case was heard in the Supreme Court on Wednesday.

The lawyer of petitioner students Navya Nayak and S Sai Priya said that a notification has been issued for counseling. In this, the power cut affected students should also get temporary permission to participate, but the Supreme Court refused to allow permission.

The petition will now be heard on Friday. Also, the petition of 51 other students will be heard on the same day.

HC’s decision was challenged by students in Supreme Court On July 14, the Indore bench of MP High Court rejected petitions for re -examination of more than 75 affected students in the case of power failure during the exam of NEET UG. The High Court had given its verdict approved the writ appeal of the National Testing Agency NTA, which conducted the examination.

The order was uploaded on the website in the evening the same day after the High Court approved NTA’s writ appeal. After this, at 6 pm, NTA declared the 75 students, who had stay on the result. Information about this was given to every student on their mail.

On 16 July, the Supreme Court agreed to hear the petition of the candidates who appeared in the examination and in some centers who had to face power cuts.

Lakhs will be affected again Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who appeared on behalf of the National Testing Agency, said that one of the two petitions cannot be allowed to conduct a re -examination, as it will affect millions of students appearing for the examination.
