Discussion on heart attack deaths in India is increasing rapidly. And this is also bound to happen. Especially when this kind of pattern is being seen among the youth. But, in the drain, anti -government people have been propagating such things that people who get the vaccine of Kovishield are falling prey to heart attack. People like KRK have often been scared by posting such posts on premature deaths. But Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will also talk like this, no one expected it. Siddaramaiah ordered an inquiry into the 23 deaths in Hasan, referring to the investigation of the possible role of the Kovid vaccine. The news of the death of 23 people from heart attack in Hassan district of Karnataka in 40 days till June 2025 has caused concern at the local and national level. Most of these deceased are youths aged 20-25 years.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah wrote in a post on X, recently more than 20 people have died of heart attack in Hassan district. This is a serious matter. Is this sudden deaths not the side effects of the covid vaccine? Many international research has recently indicated that the vaccine can cause heart attack. Can approve the vaccine in a hurry can be the cause of these deaths?
After this statement, Siddaramaiah ordered to constitute an expert committee under the chairmanship of Ravindranath, which will conduct scientific inquiry into the cause of these deaths and submit its report in 10 days. However, Siddaramaiah’s question on Waxin is only a solution to take political mileage.
1-Is this action of Siddaramaiah not like KRK?
KRK, known as Kamal R Khan, is famous for his controversial and sensational statements on social media. Nowadays, he has also started anti -India and pro -Pakistan raga. To say that he has been a Bollywood artist and currently reviews films and series. But nowadays the purpose of his tweet is left only and only to make fun of India. On June 29, he saw the cause of a cricketer’s death in the playground itself to the Kovid vaccine. He wrote that this death is only the wonder of Waxin. If you too have installed the vaccine of Adar Poonawala, then just be ready. With this tweet, he also attached the video of Ferozepur Punjab in which the cricketer dies of heart attack.
People like KRK often make such claims without scientific basis, which causes confusion in the public and their social media rich increases. Such claims have no scientific support, and they often promote rumors on social media. But such irresponsible things do not suit the person sitting on a constitutional post like Siddaramaiah.
The claims of people like KRK on social media further increase this fear. Their comments are often without proof and are made only to attract attention. Siddaramaiah is known not only the CM of Karnataka but as a responsible leader. Therefore, they should have avoided such claims, because the effect of their words is deep on the public. The case of premature deaths in Hassan is serious, and its scientific investigation is necessary. Siddaramaiah has taken the correct step by ordering an inquiry, but it was too early to blame the vaccine directly.
2- Scientific facts and ICMR study
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) conducted a comprehensive study to investigate the relationship between Covid Vyxin and sudden deaths, the results of which were presented by Union Health Minister JP Nadda in December 2024 in Parliament. In this study, data was taken from 47 hospitals in 19 states and union territories, in which cases of sudden deaths of 729 people between the age of 18-45 and 2,916 heart attacks were analyzed.
In this analysis, the most special things were as follows. Such as prolonged hospitalization during Kovid-19, history of sudden death in the family, 48 hours before death, use of drugs, excessive physical activities before death, etc. Heavy exercise in gym etc. This study of ICMR clearly dismissed rumors of suddenly connecting the covid vaccine to deaths and proved that the vaccine is not only safe, but it reduces the risk.
To monitor the side effects of the vaccine, the ‘Adversion Event Following Immunization’ (AEFI) system is applicable in the country, which tracking any possible side effects. The Supreme Court also dismissed a PIL in October 2024, stating that the claims of side effects (such as blood clotting) of the vaccine were to spread sensation.
3- The relation of vaccine and heart attack, many international research are surprising
Many international research has indicated that the vaccine can cause heart attack. To understand this we should analyze recent scientific studies. Although most of the research has developed outside India, Vaccine has been developed outside India. India’s research has been less research on vaccine.
For example, research on Physic and Modarna on the vaccine suggests that after taking it, there have been rare cases of myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the outer layer of the heart). These cases are mainly seen in young men (12-29 years) within 7 days of the second dose. According to the CDC, 2-8 cases of 100,000 people have been reported to be myocarditis, which is much lower than myocarditis (50–180 per 100,000) after the Kovid-19 infection.
Yale University found in a 2023 study that myocarditis after the vaccine is caused by an over-corpus response (cytokine and cellular reaction), not due to antibodies generated by the vaccine. These cases are mostly mild and cured medicine and comfortable.
In a study of Nature Medicine in 2022, it was estimated that the rate of myocarditis after the Kovid-19 infection is 40 million per 10 lakhs, while it is 10 lakhs after the second dose of modern vaccine.
Myocarditis and pericarditis have rare side effects of the vaccine, but are different from the heart attack.
The rare cases of thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS) with the covishield (estrejaneka) vaccine have led to the rare cases of blood clots and low platelets. In the UK court, Astrajeneka admitted that TTS is a rare side effect, which is estimated at 1-2 per 100,000 doses. However, TTS has not proved to be a direct relationship with heart attack.
A study conducted in England in 2024 on 46 million people found that heart attacks and stroke incidents have decreased by 10-27% after the Kovid-19 vaccination.
The study in Israel in 2021 suggests that during 2019-2021, the calls of cardiac arrest and acute coronary syndrome saw a 25% increase, which was related to the vaccine dose. However, in this study, the Kovid-19 infection and other factors were not kept separate, so this conclusion was not considered correct.
4-Siddharamaiya’s response will spread confusion among common people
The statement of Siddaramaiah and the comments of people like KRK can create fear and mistrust in the public. The Covid vaccination campaign in India has saved the lives of millions of people worldwide. Unnecessary doubt on the vaccine weakens health policies and public confidence. Such things of Siddaramaiah can become difficult for him. It can be difficult for the government to get waxed for other diseases among the public. In future, there will be doubt in the public for other diseases.
In particular, cases are increasing again in 2025 due to Kovid’s new variants (LF.7, XFG, JN.1, NB.1.8.1), and 55 deaths have been recorded in 2025, and 55 deaths by January 2025. In such a situation, it is important to maintain trust in vaccination and other preventive measures. People like KRK on social media want people to die like insects. Now Siddaramaiah’s statement will work as a support system for KRK. Because the comments of the windbers like KRK are often without proof, but they get weight from a Chief Minister’s talk.
