Hero Glamor X 125 Price & Features: Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two -wheeler manufacturer, has launched the new motorcycle Hero Glamor X for sale in the domestic market, updating its vehicle portfolio. The initial price of this new bike, equipped with attractive look and many smart features, has been fixed at 90,000 (ex-showroom). The company claims that it is the most futuristic bike of 125 cc segment available in the market so far.

In this bike of commuter segment, the company has included many special features. Hero MotoCorp has given this bike absolutely fresh and bold design. This motorcycle, which comes with muscular body work, has been introduced in two variants (drums and discs) and 5 color options. The company says that, the world’s first low battery kick startability technology has been used in it. Which is powered by Advance Electronic Ride Assistance (AERA).

Look and design
Muscular stance and sharp character lines are seen in the new glamor X. It has a full LED lighting package of the signature ‘H’ shape, headlamps, integrated position lights and stylish LED tail lamps. The company has given a high tinted windscreen in it, but has also offered a short windscreen as Hero MotoCorp accessories. The handler is 30 mm even more wide than before, as well as the seat has been made even more space and comfortable.
It has now been reduced to 790 mm, reducing the height of the bike seat. However, the ground clearance is 170 mm like a regular model, which is sufficient. The company has also given an underest storage space below the seat, in which you can keep small Saman or document etc. of your need.
The most special feature, cruise control
The most special feature that is included in the new Hero Glamor X is cruise control. This computer segment is the first bike to come in which this feature is being given. Usually this feature is seen only in premium and expensive bikes. Thanks to the new ride-by-wire throttle, Glamor X now gets cruise control and three riding modes (power, road and eco). These modes do not limit the top-speed, but change the mapping based on the mode you have chosen. Along with this, it also has an adaptive color LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity.
Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, distance-to-mepty, gear position advisory and an ambient advance sensor advanced multi-multiple LCD instrument cluster makes this bike even more special. It has new tactile switchgear, on which buttons are available to operate cruise control, indicators and other features. Apart from this, it also has a hazard switch, which is quite useful.
Engine, performance and mileage
In Glamor X, the company has given the same engine that is found in the regular model. This bike is equipped with a single-cylinder engine of 124.7 cc capacity. Which generates 11.5hp power and 10.5Nm torque. This engine has been connected to a 5-speed gearbox. This motorcycle provides both kick and self-start facilities.
The motorcycle has traditional telescopic fork suspension and twin shock absorber suspension at the back. Breaking is done by 240 mm disc and 130 mm drums. However, it does not get the option of single-channel ABS. As an advance bike, you can see as a deficiency. The company claims that this bike will give a mileage of up to 65 km per liter.
The bike will tell when to change the gear
Apart from cruise control, the company has also included the Gear Position Advisory System in the new Hero Glamor X. Which will continue to advise the rider at the instrument cluster when due to the bike, when it would be appropriate to change the gear. This feature will prove to be quite useful for such drivers who change gear on less RPMs or ride bikes in low-gier on more RPM.
