Hero Vida VX2 Price & Features: Hero MotoCorp, the country’s largest two -wheeler manufacturer, has finally launched the new electric scooter ‘Vida VX2’ under its VIDA brand after a long wait today. It is the cheapest and affordable electric scooter of the company’s Vida portfolio. Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor was also present on the occasion of this new launch, who became the first customer of this new electric scooter. Hero MotoCorp’s Executive Chairman Pawan Munjal handed over the key of his new scooter to Anil Kapoor.
What is the price of Vida VX2?
The initial price of this new scooter has been fixed at Rs 99,490 (ex-showroom). At the same time, the company has also introduced the Vida VX2 under the Battery-e-Service (BAAS) subscription plan. Under this subscription plan, the price of this scooter has been fixed at just Rs 59,490. That is, you can bring this electric scooter home for less than 60 thousand rupees.

On the occasion of this launch, the company’s chairman Pawan Munjal said that, “Today is a very special day. On this day i.e. on July 1, about 102 years ago, a hero i.e. his father Brijmohan Lal Munjal was born in Kamalia of undivided India (now Toba Tek Singh district of Pakistan). Today he is very excited to launch this scooter.”
Vida VX2 Electric Scooter variants
The company has launched this scooter with two variants VX2 GO and VX2 Plus. Both variants are also available for sale with Baas subscription. The V2X is Go entry level variant and has a small battery pack. At the same time, a big battery pack is available in V2X plus, which gives more driving range.

Battery pack and driving range:
The company has given a capacity of 2.2KWH in the entry level variant VX2 GO. The company claims that it will give the scooter a driving range of up to 92 km. At the same time, in the Higher variant VX2 Plus, the company has given a large battery pack of 3.4 kWh capacity. Which is capable of giving a range of up to 142 km in single charge. Removable battery is being provided in both scooters, which can be taken out and can be charged by connecting to the domestic socket. The company claims that their battery can be charged up to 80% in just 60 minutes.
Just 96 paise running cost
The company says that, if customers buy VX2 electric scooters under the battery-e-Service (BAAS) subscription plan, then they will have to pay a runing cost according to the price of the scooter in addition to the price of the scooter. That is, if you run 100 km of scooter per day, then its running cost will be Rs 96, while on daily driving of 50 km, this cost will be counted at Rs 48 per day.
On an average, according to 50 km of driving daily, the customer will cost around Rs 1,500 (48×30 = 1,440) per month. Usually, people driving with scooters are 50 to 80 kilometers per day. Keeping this in mind, the company has prepared a subscription plan on the driving of Pratikmi and Pay-billometer (Pay Per Km) is named.

In the entry level variant VX2 Go, the company has given a 4.3 -inch LCD display. At the same time, a 4.3 -inch TFT display is available in Higher variant VX2 Plus. Users can also easily connect these scooters to their smartphone.
