High Court’s comments forced Him to Resign | Former RPSC member Manju Sharma’s appeal in the High Court: said- Court comments forced to resign, did not give a chance to hear – Jaipur News

Manju Sharma has demanded the removal of the comments made against him in the appeal.

Manju Sharma, former member of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), has filed an appeal in the Jaipur Division Bench of the High Court. The single bench of the High Court had made serious comments on RPSC members on August 28, recommending the cancellation of SI Recruitment-2021 (Sub Inspector).

He has written- Rigid and unfair comments have been made against him, while he was neither made a party nor was given the opportunity to hear in this petition.

Manju Sharma resigned from his post after the High Court’s single bench’s decision, which was approved by the Governor on 15 September.

Be forced to resign The appeal stated that it is a violation of justice to damage the reputation of a public officer by based on only the charge sheet referring to the contact.

The court’s comments have tarnished Manju Sharma’s honesty and moral image, causing him a social and professional damage. Mental stress increased and was forced to resign.

The court comments have been made without any concrete evidence. There is no audio recording, direct witness details or any audit trail of marking of the recruitment process, which is enough to convict. Individual comments have been made without giving an opportunity for hearing, which is the principles of natural justice and a violation of Article 14 and 21.

Serious allegations against members from former RPSC chairman to members The single bench of the High Court in its 28 August order made serious comments on the then Chairman and members of RPSC. Justice Sameer Jain wrote in his judgment- Shobha Raika, daughter of former member Ramu Ram Raika, got good marks in SI recruitment interview.

For this, Raika met the then RPSC president Sanjay Shrotriya and other members of RPSC, including Babu Lal Katara, Manju Sharma, Sangeeta Arya and Jaswant Rathi. Raika recommended that she should ensure that her daughter passed in the interview.

The participation of these members indicates corruption in the entire system within the RPSC, which is threatening the reliability of the recruitment process in both interviews and written examinations.
