Governor Ship Pratap Shukla meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi
Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla today received a courtesy call to PM Narendra Modi in Delhi. He informed the Prime Minister of various developmental schemes implemented in the state, damage to the state from disaster and the drug -free Himachal Abhiyan.

The Governor said that PM Modi has assured him that he will provide all possible help in disaster affected areas.
The governor told the PM that both have suffered losses due to cloudburst in the mandi last night. He said that people’s houses and fields have been swept away in natural disaster. Especially on the night of June 30, there has been a big loss due to cloudburst at 15 places.

Information given about drug -free campaign
The Governor informed PM Modi about the awareness campaign being run for drug -free Himachal in the state. He said that awareness campaign against drugs is being implemented to the panchayat level.
The Governor said- ‘Kashi Declaration’ will be effectively applicable
The Governor also recently gave detailed information about the 3 -day “drug -free Youth for Developed India” conference organized by the Ministry of Youth Program and Sports of the Government of India in Kashi, Uttar Pradesh. He said that the event will play a decisive role in creating a drug -free society by 2047.
He said, “Kashi Declaration” emphasizes the problem of intoxication from the multidimensional perspective of social and public health. In this, special importance has been given to the coordinated efforts of the government and society. He said that “Kashi Declaration” will be implemented effectively for the successful implementation of the drug-free India campaign.
