11 people died so far

A large number of villages are being reported in Saraj Assembly where the rescue teams have not reached. Food material being delivered by helicopter

More than 350 houses damaged- Jairam

Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said after a visit to the disaster affected areas, more than 350 houses have been damaged in the Pakhir Panchayat, Daizi and Thunag region. More than 25 people are missing at these places. There has been even more damage in the entire assembly constituency. He has demanded the government to expedite relief and rescue operations.

370 people rescued safe

According to SDMA, 370 people have been rescued safely. So far, 104 cowsheds, 162 animals, 31 vehicles, 14 bridges, 1 power project have been washed away in the flash flood.
