Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Sunday- Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is anti-national. They are only with Bangladeshi and Pakistani Muslims. Indians are not with Hindus and even Indian Muslims.
Sarma alleged that the Congress does not respect symbols like Kamakhya Temple in Assam and great man Srimanta Shankardev. CM Sarma said these things in a conversation with the media during an election meeting in Bodoland.
Sarma said- Priyanka does not object to Assam tour Regarding Priyanka Gandhi’s visit to Assam, CM Sarma said- she has no objection to it. He said, ‘I have no objection to Priyanka Gandhi’s coming to Assam. But the women of Assam’s Self Help Group (SHG) are 100 times ahead of Priyanka Gandhi. Our women make Laru, Peetha (traditional Assamese sweets), work in fields, and send children to school-colleges. How will Priyanka Gandhi compete with him?
Sarma said- Priyanka considers Dhubri as Assam Assam Congress President Gaurav Gogoi had told that party MP Priyanka Gandhi, especially Dhubri, is coming to Dhubri. Here he campaigned during the Lok Sabha elections.
Sarma said- They consider Dhubri as Assam. There is no problem in going to Dhubri. But first there should be talk of Kamakhya, Batadrava, Chariyadev Moidem and Rang Ghar and then Dhubri.
