The investigation of the ruthless murder of Hindu activist Suhas Shetty in Mangaluru in Karnataka has now been handed over to the National Investigation Agency. The Ministry of Home Affairs has transferred the matter to the Central Agency, calling the matter a conspiracy to spread a target murder and terror. The NIA will soon take charge of the investigation by registering a case officially in this case.

According to sources, the accused associated with this murder are associated with the banned organization Popular Front of India.

The intention of the Ministry of Home Affairs is clear that the conspiracy behind this attack and the network should be completely busted. Hindu activist Suhas Shetty was murdered on 1 May at Kinnipavu in Bajpe, outsider of Mangaluru. He was going into a vehicle with his colleagues, five-six attackers stopped his path.
After this, he was attacked with sharp weapons. The video of this incident was captured in a CCTV camera, in which the attackers were seen clearly and hitting it with swords. Shetty was rushed to the hospital in a bled condition, where doctors declared him dead. Suhas Shetty was associated with various Hinduist organizations.
There were several criminal cases against him like attack, murder and illegal gathering. However, the brutality of murder and the depth of conspiracy stirred the entire state. The Karnataka police have arrested a total of 16 people in this murder so far. The latest arrest took place on June 3, when Mangaluru resident Abdul Razak (59) was arrested.
Razak is alleged to have given shelter to the main accused Mohammad Muzammil and others at his house, where the conspiracy to murder was hatched. Razak was not just a refugee, but was also close to the conspirators. He is the father of accused Muzammil. Another accused in this case is also the father -in -law of Nausad Vamanjur alias Chhote Nausad. He planned to murder.
Following the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the NIA will now see the case afresh. Sources say that the NIA is considering this murder as an act inspired by a targeted murder and terrorist mentality. Its purpose was to create fear in the minds of the people.
