Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said that I do not want to comment on my party leader’s statement when the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi agreed with US President Donald Trump’s ‘Dead Economy’ comment.
Tharoor said, “What he (Rahul Gandhi) said will be his own reasons. My concern is that our strategic and economic relationship with America is very important. We export about $ 90 billion to America. We cannot suffer such damage that this business relationship is weakened or ended.”
The Congress leader further said, “We should give strength and support to our dialogues so that there can be a proper agreement for India. Also, we should also find export options from other areas, so that if there is a loss from America, it can be compensated from elsewhere.”

In response to this question, Shashi Tharoor said, “We only know that the next Vice President will be the one who will nominate the ruling party, because the structure of the voter board is already decided. We hope that this time the opposition will be consulted this time, but who can tell it right now.”
Supreme Court remarks on defamation case said ‘system flaw’
When the Supreme Court allegedly advised a BJP leader to withdraw the defamation case filed against him, Tharoor said, “The biggest problem of our system is that sometimes very light and insignificant cases are allowed to run, and then the process itself becomes punished. The question is whether the time of our courts is being spent on meaningful matters, or the judicial time is being wasted on the political objectives?”
‘I did not target anyone’
Tharoor said that I cited an article published in 2011 in a book, in which a person’s statement was quoted, who was in the Sangh at that time and later came to the BJP and became in charge of East UP. I quoted only one quotation and after six years, I was filed in a case. In such a situation, the advice of the court is not surprising to abolish the case.
