The festival of Holi is being celebrated across the country today. In Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, priests put Baba Mahakal and Nandi Gulal. At the same time, Sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik made a sand art of Holi with a picture of Radha-Krishna in Puri, Odisha.

In UP, people applied color and gulal to each other since morning. Police administration is on alert in many districts in the state. The maximum 109 mosques are covered in Bareilly. 67 mosques have been covered in Shahjahanpur and 10 in Sambhal.
