Manikya, Chief of Tipra Motha Party, who comes from the Manikya dynasty, whose ancestors ruled Tripura before the merger in India in 1949. He claimed that people living in the hilly areas of this region wanted to be a part of India, but still India did not take this port.

Millions of Tripuri, Garo, Khasi and Chakma people are still living in a bad condition in Bangladesh. We should use this issue for our national interest and their welfare.
