Hyderabad prostitution case: The Hyderabad Police’s Southeast Zone Task Force on Wednesday (June 18, 2025) raided a house in Pisal Banda area and arrested four people, including three women and a man. During the raid, the police suspected that illegal prostitution business was being run at this place. The accused man, who is being told a customer, was also confiscated the Suzuki Bergman bike.
All the accused have been handed over to the Santoshnagar police and a case has been registered against them under the ‘Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act, 1956’. This raid is part of the action of Hyderabad Police, under which efforts are being made to ban unethical activities in residential areas and maintain public system.
Prostitution business in Banjara Hills
Earlier on June 10, the business of prostitution running from a residential complex in Banjara Hills was busted. In that case, the organizer, two housekeeping staff and three customers were arrested, while four women were compulsory from being composed of pornographic business. The Hyderabad police has clarified that it will not tolerate such illegal activities in the city and will continue strict action in such cases.
Human trafficking gang busted
The police succeeded in busting a large human trafficking gang in Kumaram Bhima Asifabad district of Telangana. Police investigation found that many people used to send poor and illiterate women to other cities of the country like Delhi and Mumbai. In this case, the police took a lot of action and arrested 9 people. In view of the seriousness of the case, the Women and Child Development Department has assured legal aid to the victim women.
