In the video released by Hamas, he is seen running a shovel in a closed underground tunnel. He is seen narrating his tragedy in a very slow voice in front of the camera.

David says in Hebrew, “I am digging my own grave now. Every day my body is getting weak. I am going directly towards my grave. This is the tomb where I will be buried. I am freeing and sleeping on my bed with my family.” After this they cry.

Avartar David’s family has given permission to release the video. In a statement, he said, “Under a propaganda campaign, to deliberately starving our son is one of the most horrific events seen in the world. He is only being hungry for the propaganda of Hamas.”
What did Benjamin Netanyahu say?
The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that after the video was released, the Prime Minister spoke to David’s family and consoled him. Netanyahu said that the government’s efforts to ensure the release of all hostages are continuing. Netanyahu has accused Hamas of deliberately hungry and propagated it in a condemnable and evil manner.
