Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma formally divorced in March this year. The news came out that this spinner of the Indian cricket team gave an amount of Rs 4.75 crore to the former wife for alimony i.e. alleviation. Now in this case, clarification has been given by Dhanashree.
The wedding and divorce of Dhanashree Verma and Team India spinner Yuzvendra Chahal remained in the headlines for a long time. After four years of marriage and dating for just six-seven months, the two decided to separate. After the breakdown of this relationship, the most discussed on the media and social media was about Alimni (alimony). There were reports that Chahal gave Dhanshree about Rs 4.75 crore Alimani after divorce. But now Dhanashree herself has rejected these claims outright.
‘I did not ask for any money…’
In the reality show ‘Rise and Fall’ of Prime Video, Dhanashree Verma spoke openly on this issue for the first time. In a conversation with singer Aditya Narayan during the show, he said, “When people say that Alimani is done, this is wrong. This relationship ended with mutual consent. So when it is said that I had asked for a money, it is completely a lie.” He also told that it has been almost a year since he got divorced and now repeatedly discussing this subject hurts him.
