Union Home Minister Amit Shah made heavy allegations against the present government of Tamil Nadu at a meeting held in Madurai on Sunday. He said that during the last four years, the DMK has crossed all the boundaries of corruption. Amit Shah said that the poor were denied food by handing over the nutrition kits worth Rs 450 crore given by the Center to the private company.

Home Minister Amit Shah said, “I live in Delhi, but my ears are engaged in Tamil Nadu. The Chief Minister here says that Amit Shah cannot beat DMK. Stalin Saheb is right, I cannot beat DMK, but the people of Tamil Nadu can defeat DMK.”

Amit Shah claimed that the DMK government is also accused of illegal sand mining scam worth Rs 4600 crore, which directly affected the poor of the state and had to buy expensive sand, so that the party could earn profit. At the same time, he also raised the Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (Tasmak) scam, alleging a loss of Rs 39,000 crore to the state. The Home Minister said that this amount could have been invested in making two additional rooms in each school in Tamil Nadu.

Supreme Court banned the investigation of the Enforcement Directorate

It is worth noting that last month, the Supreme Court stopped the investigation of the Enforcement Directorate under the Money Laundering Prevention Act after hearing the petition of the Tamil Nadu government. The government had described it as against the misuse of the rights of the agency of the Center and the Constitution.

60 percent of election promises was not fulfilled- Amit Shah

Amit Shah said, “I have a long list of corruption done by the MK Stalin government, but I do not want to waste time in detail.” He alleged that the Stalin government has not fulfilled even 60 percent of its election promises. He challenged Stalin and said, “You tell the public how many promises you have fulfilled.”
