A disputed case came to light on Saturday in the Muslim -dominated area of Ujjain city of Madhya Pradesh when someone put a poster of ‘I Love Muhammad’ on an iron bridge. This place was directly in front of the mosque, causing discussion and tension among the local people. As soon as the matter reached the police, the team of Mahakal police station and municipal employees immediately removed the poster. The police tried to find out who put it up, but at the moment there was no concrete information in this regard. The police has increased vigilance in the area and appealed to all communities to maintain harmony.
Noori Khan, executive president and state spokesperson of Madhya Pradesh Mahila Congress, supported this poster. He said that respecting the name of his Prophet does not come under any crime. Noori Khan said, “If someone says ‘I Love Muhammad’, it is a symbol of his faith. I will also say on the injury of Danke 100 times that I love Mohammad. Like someone says ‘I Love Mahakal’, he should also respect him. Every person has love for his religion and faith.”
He also said that some people in the country want to spread hatred in the name of religion, but this is a matter of personal faith of all. Noori Khan clarified, ‘If someone uses a name with respect, there is no religion that can stop him. But if someone deliberately hides his identity and misuses religion, then he is wrong.
Where did the dispute start?
