The International Cricket Council (ICC) has fined Indian T20 team captain Suryakumar Yadav 30 percent of the match fees. This decision of ICC has been challenged by BCCI. Suryakumar Yadav dedicated the victory in the group match to the victims of the Pahalgam attack and the Indian Army. The Indian Army had run Operation Sindoor, which ended the terrorist structure in Pakistan on a large scale. The PCB described Suryakumar Yadav’s statement as politically motivated and complained to the ICC.
