ICC champions trophy 2025: The wait for the ICC Champions Trophy tournament is going to end. Finally, the day has come when cricket fans desperate to see the players’ will see this ODI tournament closely. Today (19 February), an opening match will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi, with which the tournament will begin.
There is hardly so much stress in any cricket event, the insistence of two administrative boards of two important participants and the preparations for the host stadiums, but once Pakistan and New Zealand captains will come out of the field for the first match toss. All these things outside will be marginalized. Pakistan won the title in 2017 last time.
Teams from India and Pakistan will be face to face on 23 February. The match between two arch -rivals is named ‘Mahamukabala’. A match in which feelings on both sides will be opened, layers of memories will be opened. Not only this, social media will not look less than any arena during the match and even after that.
The Indian team will land as a strong contender for the title, but a lapse can spoil all its equations. Something similar happened in the ODI World Cup-2023 final, when the Indian team lost the title match after a good performance throughout the tournament.
This is the condition of Australia-New Zealand-England
Australia team has come without their leading fast bowlers Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood, but they have batsmen to meet the needs of ODI format.
Some of the leading players of England dominate the aging and poor form. But Jose Butler, Joe Root and Liam Livingstone may be expected to perform the same familiar performance at one time or young players like Harry Brook and Ben Docket can make a new way.
New Zealand has also descended with new players after the retirement of Trent Bolt and Tim Southee. Kane Williamson is Trumpcard and is expected to give New Zealand the first ICC title.
Do not take Afghanistan-Bangladesh lightly
South Africa won the ICC Nockout Trophy in 1998, but recently no one won the title and would like to fulfill this shortage. Similarly, Pakistan can prove to be dangerous if Pakistan gets overwhelmed by being passionate about the match against India and does not accept the last fort. He has a high -grade faster attack and a batsman like Fakhar Jaman and Salman Ali Aga.
Afghanistan’s victory is no longer considered to be upset. He has match winners like Rashid Khan, the best ODI cricketer of ICC year Ajmatullah Umarjai and Rahmanullah Gurbaz. On the other hand, Bangladesh has reversed in the 2007 ODI World Cup and would like to repeat it.
