ICC Rankings Updates: In the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 played under Pakistan’s hosting, the Indian team and players made a big splash. In the final match in Dubai on March 9, the Indian team defeated New Zealand by 4 wickets and captured the title for the third time. After this, now the International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest ranking of players on Wednesday (March 12).
In the ICC ODI bowling rankings, Indian team’s star spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja have rocked. He performed Dhansu in the Champions Trophy, due to which he benefited bumper.
Jadeja reached the top-10 of bowling rankings
Kuldeep and Jadeja have jumped 3-3 places. With this, Kuldeep has reached third. While Jadeja has entered the top-10. He has now come at number 10. Both of them are Indians among the top-10 bowlers. While Sri Lanka’s Mahish Tuppan is at the top.
Shubman Gill still holds the top
On the other hand, ODI batting ranking Indian opener Shubman Gill holds the top. Former Pakistani captain Babar Azam is at number two. However, Indian captain Rohit Sharma has benefited by 2 places. He has now reached third.
While Virat Kohli is a rung. He has now reached number 5. There are only four Indians in the top-10 of the ODI batting rankings. Apart from Gill, Kohli and Rohit, the fourth Indian is Shreyas Iyer, who is at number 8.
Rachin Ravindra of New Zealand, who scored the most runs in the Champions Trophy 2025, has benefited by 14 places. He has now reached number 14 in the ODI batting rankings. Deril Mitchell is the only batsman of Kiwi team who lost India in the final, who is in the top-10. He has jumped a rung and reached the sixth number.
