ICC Test Ranking: Rishabh Pant’s jump, Bumrah and Jadeja intact on top, whose position in the latest ICC Test rankings?

Dubai: India’s aggressive wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant moved to sixth place in the latest batting rankings of the International Cricket Council on Wednesday.

Pant, who became the second wicketkeeper who scored a century in both innings of the same Test last week against England, has the best 801 rating points of his career. He is just 88 points behind the top of England in the top.

Pant achieved the best fifth ranking of his career in July 2022. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal is intact in fourth place and is the top Indian in the batsmen list. Captain Shubman Gill is ranked 21st from the loss of one place.

Root, who scored 28 in the headingley Test against India and 53 not out, has a 15 point lead over his compatriot Harry Brook, who ranked second.

England opener Ben Docket, who played a 149 -run match winning innings in the second innings of the first Test against India, is in the best eighth position of his career.

Jasprit Bumrah, leader of India’s fast bowling attack in the bowling rankings, holds the top with a 907 rating points. He took five wickets in the first innings of the first Test against England.

South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada and Australia captain Pat Cummins remain in second and third position respectively. Josh Hazlewood has reached the fourth position with the benefit of one place. He defeated Pakistan spinner Noman Ali. Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja of India is also on top in the list of Test all -rounder.
