The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the schedule of Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 a year ago. According to the schedule released on Wednesday, the Indian team will start their campaign against Pakistan on 14 June.

On June 12, the opening match of the tournament will be played between hosts England and Sri Lanka on this ground. The final match of the tournament will be played on 5 July. 12 teams will participate in this tournament and a total of 33 matches will be played.

New Zealand defeated South Africa by 32 runs to win the previous T20 World Cup title.

12 teams were divided into two groups, placed India in Group A 12 teams participating in the T20 World Cup are divided into two groups. Group-A has a team from India, Pakistan, Australia and South Africa. At the same time, Group-B consists of England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and West Indies. The remaining two teams from both groups will come from the global qualifier.

Both semi -finals will be held at Oval on 30 June and 2 July and the final will be held on 5 July at Lord’s. The matches of this tournament, which lasts for 24 days, will be held on 7 grounds. It includes Edgbaston, Hampshire Bowl, Handingley, Old Trafford, The Oval, Bristol County Ground and Lords.
