The names of the winners of the ninth Imka Awards were announced in the IIMC Alumni Association’s annual connections meat. At the ceremony held in Delhi, the founder of the echoes Anshu Gupta and writer-journalist Nilesh Misra were awarded the Alumni of the Year Award. Sarvapriya Sangwan won the Journalist of the Year Award, under which he received a trophy and citation with a cash amount of Rs 1.5 lakh. Silver Jubilee honors were also given to about 80 alumni who passed 25 years before IIMC in the ceremony.
These people received awards
Under the Committee Award, Prof. of Delhi. Ashok Ogra, Jahnavi Fukean of Guwahati, Sujata Sabnis of Pune, Prof. of Tezpur. Shambhunath Singh and Mein Prasad Rai of Delhi were awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award. Public Service Award was received by SSP Kishore Kaushal of Jamshedpur and Aditya Vardhan, social activist of Gaya. Ketan Tanna of Maharashtra, Sudhanshu Patro of Odisha and Manindra Mishra of Uttar Pradesh were given connecting alumni while Imka’s Gujarat Committee was awarded the connecting chapter. Apart from these, in addition to these, Santosh Kumar Valmiki of UP, Kalyan Ranjan of Delhi and Nitin Pradhan, Elis Gurum of Punjab, Braj Kishore of Maharashtra, Biskesh Biswal of Odisha and Krishna Pofle of Maharashtra were awarded the Pillars of Imka Award.
The winners of various awards ranging from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 1.50 lakh were rewarded by the concerned category jury. Apart from Journalist of the Year Sarvapriya Sangwan, Pallav Jain gets Agriculture Reporter of the Year, Sandeep Rajwade to Reporter of the Year Publishing, Ajatika Singh to Reporter of the Year Broadcasting, Harshita Rathore to Producer of the Year, R. Samban received the Indian Language Reporter of the Year Publishing, Anuj Kumar Das received the Indian Language Reporter of the Year Broadcasting, Pankaj Bora received Ad Person of the Year, Ashish Shukla to PR Person of the Year. In the jury category, Avian V received the PR Agency of the Year and Kison received the Digital Agency’s Off the Year Award.

The ceremony was presided over by Imka President Simrat Gulati, which is the Auditor of the Imka Award, Rajesh Kalra, Convenor Sneha Bhattacharjee, General Secretary Deeksha Saxena, Treasurer Animesh Vishwas, Connection Meet’s chief organizer Prem Prakash, Global Meat Rajesh Kumar, Chapter Meet Convenor Neeraj Bajpei, Silver Jubilee batch convenor Arijit Banerjee and Sushil’s editor Sushil Singh addressed. Former Imka President Mukesh Kaushik, Sunila Dhar, Prasad Sanyal, Kalyan Ranjan, Executive Chairman Gayatri Srivastava and senior people of Journalism, PR, advertising field attended the ceremony from across the country.
