Illegal bangladeshi immigrants arrested: The Oshiwara police of Mumbai arrested two Bangladeshi citizens, who had been living in Mumbai in an all -time manner for the last two years. On suspicion of the police, their mobile phones were seized and during interrogation, both confessed to being a Bangladeshi citizen. During interrogation, he claimed that he was working as a laborer to repay the loan.
According to police sources, they had received information that some Bangladeshi citizens are coming to Jogeshwari for employment. After this, the police laid a trap and detained them. When he was asked his name, he described himself as Suman Sheikh and Iman Sheikh.
Accused could not show valid documents
Police investigation revealed that both the accused were working as a daily wage laborer in Meera Road area adjacent to Mumbai. When he was asked for documents related to Indian citizenship, he could not show any evidence. During interrogation, he admitted that he is a Bangladeshi citizen and was living in India in an all -round manner.
India had reached in search of a better future
During the interrogation, the accused said that they were in heavy debt in Bangladesh and were struggling with unemployment and poverty. In search of loans and looking for a better opportunity, he illegally infiltrated India and started working in Mumbai. For the last two years, he was living in Meera Road and used to send money to his family.
Court sent police custody
The police investigated his mobile phone, which confirmed that he was in contact with his relatives and friends in Bangladesh. Oshiwara police registered a case against both and arrested them. After appearing in court, he was sent to police custody for further investigation.
