At present, there is a possibility of delay of 15 to 45 minutes in flights here. However, till now there is no diversion regarding landing at Delhi airport.

According to IMD data of the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 16 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees below normal and the minimum temperature was 7.6 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of fog in Delhi-NCR till January 8, while there is a possibility of light rain on January 6. Friday was the fifth consecutive cold day for Delhi.
Many flights affected due to fog
SpiceJet said that due to bad weather, all flights to and from Amritsar and Guwahati have been affected, while IndiGo has issued an advisory keeping special attention on Delhi, Amritsar, Lucknow, Bengaluru and Guwahati routes. Airlines companies have requested passengers to check the flight time table before planning their journey. At the same time, flights can also be canceled due to low visibility due to fog.

Trains coming to and leaving Delhi are also running late, while the timings of trains running on some routes have been changed. Due to dense fog, vehicles are seen crawling on the roads. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert regarding cold in Delhi NCR.
According to the Meteorological Department, Himachal Pradesh will see snowfall from 4 to 7 January, in which there is a possibility of rain on 5 and 6 January. Apart from this, heavy snowfall has also been predicted in Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh on January 5. Frost conditions will persist on the ground in different parts of the northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur.
