Warning of rain in many areas of Jharkhand today

The Meteorological Department has warned that on 30 June i.e. today, many areas of Jharkhand may receive very heavy rainfall. Apart from this, on 1 July, there is a possibility of very heavy rainfall in Jharkhand. From 30 June to 5 July, heavy rains may occur in different parts of Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. At the same time, heavy rains are also expected in Vidarbha till July 2. A warning of rain has been issued in 27 districts of Rajasthan today. The monsoon reached Pakistan on Sunday covering the entire Rajasthan.

Rain alert from June 30 to July 5 in these states

The process of rain may continue in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim from 30 June to 5 July. There is a possibility of heavy rains in the plains of Ganga of West Bengal during June 30 and July 1.

When will the clouds rain in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh?

In Bihar and Madhya Pradesh, very heavy rainfall is forecast on July 4 and 5. Apart from this, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh may also receive heavy to very heavy rainfall on 30 June and 1 July. The Meteorological Department has appealed to the people of these states to be vigilant and follow the guidelines of local administration. There is also a possibility of waterlogging and traffic disrupted in many areas.

Heavy rains during the next 7 days in western and northeastern parts

The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to heavy rains in the western and northeastern parts of the country during the next 7 days. Konkan and Goa, Ghat regions of Central Maharashtra and different parts of Gujarat state may receive heavy to very heavy rains in the coming days. Marathwada is also expected to have strong rains on 29 and 30 June.

The process of heavy rains continues in Northeast India

Most areas of the northeastern states are likely to have light to moderate rains, thunderstorms with strong showers. Between 2 and 5 July, very heavy rain has been warned at some places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

Painful death of people in these states

  • The body of 2 of the 9 laborers missing due to cloudburst in Barkot in Uttarakhand has been found.
  • Schools are closed in 4 districts of Himachal Pradesh on Monday due to heavy rain alert. So far 20 people have died in rain -related incidents in the state. So far 39 people have lost their lives in Himachal.
  • A warning of rain has been issued in 27 districts of Rajasthan even today. On Sunday also, 24 districts of the state received heavy rains. 5 people died due to lightning and drowning in the state.
  • On Sunday, one person died in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh due to lightning, while another was injured.
