Monsoon rains continue in most parts of the country. The Meteorological Department has issued rain alert in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Eastern Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Goa, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh today.
Clouds erupted at 11 places in the last 24 hours in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. So far 5 people have died due to floods and landslides, 16 people are missing.
In Varanasi, Ganga is growing at a speed of 50mm every hour. The water level has increased by 2 meters in 24 hours. The Ganges water has come to Manikarnika Ghat. Due to which the contact with the Ganga Gate Ghat has been broken.
