India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert in Mumbai, Thane, Raigad and Palghar districts of Maharashtra on Sunday. Here heavy rain has been warned. At the same time, in Hyderabad, on Saturday, the torrential rains disrupted life. Many colonies including Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) were submerged in water.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reviewed the situation and ordered people to take people from lower areas to safe places. The Musi river is flowing above the danger mark due to continuous rains and water being released from Usman Sea and Himayat Sea.

Here, there is a shadow of rain on Durga Puja festival in West Bengal. According to the Meteorological Department, a new low pressure area will be formed in the Bay of Bengal on 1 October, which will rain in many districts of South Bengal for the next seven days.
