Goenka posted on X (East Twitter), “Two good consecutive centuries for Rishabh Pant. Aggressive, courageous, brilliant. The second wicketkeeper of history who scored a century in both innings of Test.” Playing as a wicketkeeper, the only other player to score two centuries in the same match was Andy Flower, former wicketkeeper of Zimbabwe, who scored 142 against South Africa and 199 not out against South Africa in Harare in 2001.
