The experience of a job candidate on social media is going viral, which has forced people to think. Reason? Before the interview, he was so harassed that he finally thought it better to retreat himself.
Imagine – You get a job with a big, well -known global company. Everything is going well, but the recruiter so often calls, messages and emails that you become irritated. This is what happened with the candidate who shared his story on Reddit.
Recruiter’s inquiry did not end ..
A candidate preparing for the interview for an international company canceled the interview at the last minute. Candidate says that in just three days, a recruiter called him so many times that he started getting suspicious and finally refused to give the interview.
This whole matter has come up in a viral redit post, whose topic was-‘I cancelled the interview!’. In the post, the user told that from Monday to Wednesday, the recruiter made four emails, called 15 times and sent 45 text messages. Some messages also came till 10 pm.

The candidate told that he had already talked to the recruiter thrice and shared the necessary information through email. Despite this, the shower of calls and messages continued.
Candidate found this behavior unprofessional and inconvenient, due to which he canceled the interview. He informed the officers who took direct interviews about this and withdrew their candidature by sending a formal email. Despite this, he received two more calls, after which he blocked the recruiter.
The candidate further wrote that this recruiter’s behavior made me away from one of the largest companies in the world.
Many people reacted on this post. Someone described this behavior as torturing. Someone said that the recruiter should have telemarked, not hiring.
