Champions Trophy 2025 Prize Money for Semifinalist: The thrill of the ICC Champions Trophy has now moved towards its last stop. Four of the 8 teams were eliminated and 4 made it to the semi -finals. India is to face Australia in the first semi -finals while South Africa will play the semi -final match against New Zealand. How much will the team lose in the semi -finals
The ICC has fixed a total prize money of $ 6.9 million for the Champions Trophy 2025. This is 53 percent more than the 2017 edition. The team which will win the two -end will be given $ 2.24 million (about Rs 19.5 crore) and the runner -up will be given $ 1.12 million (about Rs 9.78 crore). This is the matter of the winner and runner -up, the team that will lose in the semi -finals will get the ICC $ 560,000 i.e. about Rs 4.89 crore as a reward.

Tournament is being held after 8 years
The ICC Champions Trophy is being held after 8 years. It was last organized in 2017. Then Pakistan won the two -end by defeating India in the final. This time Pakistan, playing as hosting, had to be out of the first round. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and New Zealand were placed in Group A. Group B had teams from Australia, South Africa, England and Afghanistan. India and New Zealand from Group A while South Africa and Australia from Group B have made it to the semi -finals.
