The second match of the 3 -match ODI series between India and England will be played in Cuttack, Assam tomorrow. Both teams have reached Cuttack on Friday. Some members of the Indian team arrived to visit the Shri Jagannath Temple this morning. It includes the names of Akshar Patel, Washington Sundar and Varun Chakraborty.

The Indian team is ahead 1-0 in the series. The team had earlier won the 5-match T20 series 4–1.

Akshar Patel scored a half -century in the first ODI After taking 1 wicket in bowling, Akshar had to get down to batting at number-5. He scored 52 runs and did a century partnership with Shubman.

India won the first ODI by 4 wickets India defeated England by 4 wickets in the first ODI played on Thursday. England won the toss at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur and selected the batting. Despite a good start, the team was all out after scoring 248 runs in 47.5 overs. India lost 2 wickets for 19 runs, with the help of 3 fifty in the middle order, the team achieved target by losing 6 wickets in 38.4 overs.

Varun Chakraborty joins the team in place of Bumrah Mystery spinner Varun Chakraborty has been included in Team India’s ODI Squad in place of Jaspreet Bumrah. Varun was the Player of the Series in the T20 series ended against England on 2 February. He took 14 wickets in 5 matches. Most of England’s batters had trouble against Varun. He has not been able to make his ODI debut till now and was also included in the ODI squad for the first time.
