New Delhi. England’s young batsman Harry Brook broke his heart when in the first innings of the first Test match against India, the fast bowler was caught by the famous Krishna on a score of 99. Brooke missed his 9th Test century by just one run. Brooke wanted to complete a century through a boundary but the ball rose up and Shardul Thakur broke the heart of England fans by catching his catch near the boundary. However, Brooke played a brilliant innings from his team and hardly removed the team. On the basis of Brooke’s best innings, England retaliated against India.

Harry Brook landed at number five to bat. He scored runs against all the major bowlers of India. Brook’s catch was dripped by Yashasvi Jaiswal off Jaspreet Bumrah. Then Brooke was playing for 83 runs. He shared a 51 -run partnership for the fifth wicket with captain Ben Stokes. After this, Brooke, along with wicketkeeper Jamie Smith, added 73 runs for the sixth wicket, while for the seventh wicket, with Chris Woakes, a 49 -run partnership took the team’s score to 400.
