KL Rahul hit Fifty on the second day.
Kumble said on Jio Hotstar, “KL Rahul batted brilliantly. His innings was specific because he had to work hard for this. This was an aggressive spell of Jofra Archer. Especially his first spell in which he bowled at a speed of more than 150 km per hour, in which he bounced and was also getting a little swing in the beginning.
He said, “Rahul faced all the bowlers of England well. His attitude was very clear and he looked completely under control. It was a very disciplined and mature innings and I am sure he would be satisfied with his performance. ”Former England batsman and Afghanistan’s current head coach Jonathan Trot said that this wicket is not easy to bat.
He said, “I don’t think you can dominate the bowlers on this pitch.” You have to be cautious. This is the wicket of a completely new ball. Rahul played an important role in thwarting the initial threat. He played directly with the bat like Shubman Gill did it in the second Test. ”
