Leeds: In the first Test, there is now a fight of R or Par. Today is the last day of the match. England need 350 runs to win while India has to take full 10 wickets. Meanwhile, England fast bowler Josh Tung made it clear that his team will put full force to win.

England scored 21 runs without any loss until the fourth day play was over. If the British succeed in runchez, then this will be England’s second biggest successful run chase in Test cricket and the second best on this ground.

Asked about England’s perspective in the final innings, Tung said, ‘No… just go ahead for victory … This is the clear message in the distribution room. Hopefully we will not be in that situation (draw) anyway. We will try to be as positive as possible in the first session and then see where we are till lunch – then we will move forward from there.

Tung said that the current England batting line up believes in chasing any target against any team. He said, ‘Our batting line-up can pursue any goal. His bowlers will bowl well from time to time, but it is about facing the pressure and putting it back to the bowlers.

Playing his fourth Test, Tung finished his spell with 3/72 figures with three wickets in four balls in the second innings. The same spell of Tongs helped England dismiss India for 364 runs in the second innings.
