Indian wicketkeeper Dhruv Juril has won a unique record with winning the fifth Test. Dhruv Jurlel has played five Test matches for India so far and has won all.
The world record of playing the most Test matches without losers is the name of the West Indies Aldin Baptist. He played 10 Tests in a seven -year long career. West Indies won each of these matches. Aldin Baptist was a bowling all -rounder. His performance was not very effective and that is why there were inside and out of the team. Aldin Baptist took 16 wickets in 10 Tests at an average of 35.18 and scored 233 runs at an average of 23.30. His best score was 87 (unbeaten).
Pant’s injury benefited
The case of Dhruv Jurael is also similar till now. He made his debut in the Test series against England last year. At that time Rishabh Pant was walking out of the team after being injured in the car accident. Jurael then redeemed the opportunity and scored 190 runs in 4 innings at an average of 63.33. Rishabh Pant got fit before those teams would have confirmed their place. He returned to the team and Jurael was dropped. Dhruv Jurael again got a chance during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. He was given a chance in Perth in the first Test of the series. However, then they did not affect and could score 12 runs in two innings.
Keeping in 3 matches in England
Dhruv Juralka role in England was interesting. Pant was hurt in the third Test and did not take wicketkeeping. Then Jurael did wicketkeeping even after not in the playing XI. Rishabh Pant came back fit in the fourth Test but he got hurt again while batting. This time too, Jurael did wicketkeeping instead of Pant. Pant did not play the fifth Test due to injury and Dhruv Jurlel got a place in the playing XI for the first time in the series. Jurael played innings of 19 and 34 runs in this match.
