Siraj was seen practicing batting under the supervision of batting coach Sitanshu Kotak. He was practicing bending under short balls, leaving balls going out of off stump and playing forward defensive shot from soft hands. This preparation of Siraj shows that the team is now expecting contribution to the bowlers as well.

Famous and Bumrah did not appear in practice

Fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah and the famous Krishna were absent from this training session. The last six batsmen of India could score only 65 runs in both innings. Changes in Team India’s bowling possible for second Test

The second Test of the series between India and England will be played at Edgbaston ground in Birmingham on Wednesday, July 2 at 3:30 pm (Indian time). There are reports of resting Jasprit Bumrah under the workload management, while Shardul Thakur can be dropped from the playing XI due to poor performance from both bat and ball.
