Former England captain Michael Vaughan has questioned Ben Stokes’s decision to bowl before the sunshine in the first Test at Handingley, Leeds. This proved to be a good toss losing for India, as 3 batter of Team India scored a century. Vaughan said that when the weather is dry and sunny in the headingley, it is necessary to bat first. He emphasized that the decisions should be taken on the basis of the circumstances of the same moment and not on the past experiences.

Vaughan said that England’s strength is in his batting, while the bowling department is inexperienced, as Jofra Archer and Mark Wood are recovering from injury and Stuart Broad and James Anderson have retired. Under the captaincy of Stokes, England have chosen the first bowling in 8 of the 9 Tests at home, out of which he won 6 times. However, von believes that old figures cannot be trusted every time.

Vaughan said that you have to take a decision every time according to the same moment. And otherwise what you did earlier, it cannot decide today’s decision.
