Ind Beat Pak Asia Cup Final 2025: With the help of Kuldeep Yadav’s four wickets, the Indian team dismissed Pakistan for 146 runs in 19.1 overs in the Asia Cup final on Sunday. Later won by five wickets in the last over.
India vs PakistanDubai: If defending champion India can win the Asia Cup 2025 title for the ninth time, its biggest credit goes to its spinners. In the final, when Pakistani openers started beating Indian bowlers, it was felt that captain Suryakumar Yadav’s first bowling stake should not be reverse. Sahibzada Farhan and Fakhar Zaman were playing shots openly. By the start of the 10th over, it seemed that Pakistan would give 180-190 runs on the scoreboard. But suddenly a ‘suicidal bomb’ burst in the Pakistani camp.
Actually, India won the toss and decided to bowl. Pakistan made a very aggressive start against the Indian team without Hardik Pandya. Opener Sahibzada Farhan (57 runs off 38 balls) and Fakhar Zaman (46 off 35 balls) had shared an 84 -run partnership till the tenth over, but after that the Pakistani batsmen did not know what happened. At one time, Pakistan’s score was 113 runs for one wicket when Fakhar and Saim Ayub were at the crease. After this, the Pakistani innings collapsed like cards.
Seven batsmen could not reach double digit
Pakistan lost the first wicket in the 10th over for 84 runs and its last nine wickets fell within 62 runs. Apart from three batsmen, no one could reach the score of tens. Kuldeep Yadav took four wickets for 30 runs in four overs while Varun Chakraborty, Akshar Patel and Jaspreet Bumrah got two wickets each.
Suicide bomb exploded within half an hour
For Pakistan, opener Sahibzada Farhan scored 57 off 38 balls and Fakhar Jaman scored 46 runs in 35 balls. Apart from both, no batsman could stand at the crease. Pakistan’s second wicket was 113, third wicket 114, fourth wicket 124, fifth wicket 131, sixth wicket 133, seventh wicket 124, eighth wicket 134, ninth wicket 141 and tenth and last wicket fell for 146 runs.
India did not take the trophy at the hands of Pakistani Naqvi
After winning the final by five wickets, the Indian team refused to take the Asia Cricket Council (ACC) President and Pakistan Minister Mohsin Naqvi to take the Asia Cup Trophy. The Naqvi prize was stood on one side before the prize distribution ceremony began and the Indian players were standing within 15 yards, they refused to withdraw from their places. The Indian team management had asked who would give the winner’s trophy and the conversation started in the ACC because they know that the Indian team would not like to take the trophy from Naqvi. After Naqvi came on stage, Indian fans from the audience started shouting slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’.
