On the occasion of Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the countrymen from the ramparts of the Red Fort. During this time, he spoke on many major issues related to the development, security, technical self -reliance and future of the youth. The Prime Minister said that this mahaparva of independence is a festival of 140 crore resolutions and every citizen will have to play his role in it.
Prime Minister Modi made a special announcement about the youth. He informed that with a cost of Rs 1 lakh crore, ‘Pradhan Mantri Developed India Employment Scheme’ is being implemented from today. Under this, the youth who get the first job in the private sector will get Rs 15000 from the government. This is the first time that the government will give money to the youth working in the private sector.
PM Modi also talked about these issues
- Energy self -sufficiency , PM Modi said that solar energy increased by 30 times in 11 years, investment in hydropower and green hydrogen, 10 new nuclear reactors working, a target to increase nuclear capacity by 2047 by 10 times.
- Critical mineral mission , PM Modi said that searching is going on at more than 1,200 places for self -sufficiency in the minerals required for defense, technology and medicine.
- India’s own space station , PM Modi said that by 2047, there will be a space station of India and called for a Made in India jet engine.
