England got scared before the Test series started, the legend said- India ...

Joe Root has described the Indian team as strong.

Highlights

  • Joe is England’s important batsman in the root Test series
  • Root’s record of right -handed batsman Root is excellent against India
  • He has been in great form for some time

New Delhi. Root, who has scored more than 21 thousand runs in international cricket, has advised his team to be vigilant in the Test series. Despite the emptiness of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s retirement, England’s top batsman Root believes that the Indian team on tour has completed all preparations for the upcoming Test series. This opinion of the root, however, is different from the views of some of his compatriots. Both teams will participate in the five -match Test series starting in Headingley from Friday.

In the absence of Rohit and Kohli, who announced his retirement from Test cricket last month, Shubman Gill will take charge of the Indian team which is a mixture of young and experienced players. Thirty -four -year -old Root told the commentator of ‘Sky Sports’ and his former teammate Stuart Broad,’ You can only be excited. These are the series for which you play. The opportunities we have are fantastic. You know that the Ashes is coming and you will be asked about it. People will look at the events happening in the India series but you have to work against a great team.

Root has already confirmed its place among the great players of the game by scoring more than 13000 runs in the traditional format and will try to further enhance this figure in the upcoming matches against India and Australia. Out of his current 13,006 runs, the Yorkshire player has scored 3,117 runs in three years after Ben Stokes has replaced him as captain. Former England captain Geoffrey Boycott has urged the hosts of the country to curb their batting badge (always aggressively playing style) style and use general knowledge but Root said it would be right to call it Begeball.

Root said, ‘It cannot always be told how it is really – I do not think it would be right to call it a badge. This is clearly a major change and it is different from the way many teams are playing but it is more like it is considered as much as it is considered.
