India Dispatches Humanitarian Aid to Myanmar Under Operation Brahma Thailand Earthquake Disaster Relief

Myanmar earthquake: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar informed on the social media platform X that India has sent the first batch of emergency humanitarian aid to Myanmar. These assistance has been sent under #Operationbrahma which includes necessary relief goods and rescue teams.

S Jaishankar told that the C-130 flight of the Indian Air Force (IAF) left for Myanmar with this aid material. This relief material includes blankets, tents, hygiene kits, sleeping bags, solar lamps, water purifiers, generator sets and paracetamols, antibiotics, syringes, gloves, food and kitchen sets ready to eat. Apart from this, search and rescue team and medical team are also reaching Myanmar under this mission so that the needy can be assisted immediately.

India will send more help if needed

The Foreign Minister further said that India is constantly monitoring the situation and more assistance will be sent in future. Jaishankar told that ‘we are monitoring the situation and will send more help if needed.’

Myanmar reached the first batch

He said that the first batch of humanitarian aid sent by India has already reached Youngon Airport. India has always been committed to helping in the crisis -affected areas and #Ooperationbrahma is a part of the same commitment.
