Ed in Solar Energy Company Commission Case: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has intensified its investigation in the matter of demanding commission from the solar energy equipment making company. The ED is preparing to register a case in this case soon. Vigilance investigation is going on against already suspended IAS officer Abhishek Prakash in this scam. Vigilance has started collecting details of his movable and immovable properties and can also be questioned by the officials close to him.
ED started deep investigation, Investigation of bank accounts
The ED is already investigating the bank accounts and companies of Nikant Jain arrested in this case. The police have also handed over several important information to the ED after questioning him. The ED is now investigating the transactions and other documents of Nikant Jain’s companies.
Company representative will be questioned again
Gomti Nagar Police has sent a notice to Vishwajit Dutta, a representative of SAEL Solar P6 Private Limited Company, who filed an FIR in this case, to record the statement again. The police is trying to find out which senior officer of Invest UP had given the mobile number of Nikant Jain to the company.
The court had also ordered the police to reveal the name of the senior officer during the deliberation. But till now it has not been revealed in the police investigation that which officer had sent Nikant Jain to ask for commission in exchange for the approval of investment proposal.
Large amount transactions will be investigated
The ED has sought some necessary documents from the police in this case, which will be intensified as soon as they get it. Investigation agencies are now investigating the major transactions in bank accounts in the last few years.

After this scam was exposed, the state government suspended Invest UP CEO Abhishek Prakash. He is accused of misusing his post and demanded a commission from the company.
Gomtinagar police has already registered a case in this case and Nikant Jain has been arrested and sent to jail. But till now the police have not been able to find out who was the senior officer who asked Nikant Jain to contact the company.
How the case of commissioning was revealed,
SAEL Solar P6 Private Limited made an investment proposal to make solar energy equipment in Uttar Pradesh through Invest UP. But Nikant Jain had sought 5% commission from the company in exchange for approval of this proposal. The company complained about the matter, after which the scam was revealed.
Now ED, Vigilance and police are conducting separate investigations separately and are trying to reach the big officials associated with this scam.
