India on Gaza: | United Nations India Demanded 2-Nation Solution to Gaza Conflict also stressed on immediati ceasefire

India on gaza: India’s permanent representative Ambassador Harish Parvathaneni on Wednesday (30 July 2025) introduced India’s perspective at the Gaza Sangharsh and Israel-Pilstine issue at the High Level International Conference at the United Nations Headquarters held in New York. He emphasized the need for practical and human solution not only on political promises.

India has always supported two-nation solutions. An independent Palestine state and a safe Israel, which moved to peaceful coexistence. This time, India called upon the global community not to be limited to passing the resolution, but should take concrete steps that change the ground reality.

India’s concern over Gaza’s human situation
Ambassador Harish exposed the serious human crisis in Gaza in detail. He said that thousands of people have been killed in Gaza, many have been injured. Basic facilities like hospital and school have been destroyed. Children have been deprived of education for 20 months. This crisis is beyond politics. This is a question for humanity. India insisted that humanitarian aid should be freed from any kind of political obstacle. Food, fuel, and other essential things should reach Gaza without any trouble.

Suggestion on the solution of India
Ambassador Harish underlined four main measures which India wants to see immediately applied:

  • Immediate ceasefire.
  • Human assistance without continuous and without obstruction.
  • Release of all hostages.
  • The path of purposeful interaction and diplomacy.

It states that India is not only giving emotional support, but is also presenting a strategic and practical solution outline.

India wants a solution to contribute
India also clarified that it does not only want to see from far away, but is willing to be a part of the solution process. The ambassador said that India expresses its full readiness to contribute to this noble effort. Let us not be satisfied with only paper solutions.
